When you are choosing a session, I want you to understand what you are choosing. Regenere brings together several parts of my work in one personal appointment: infrared therapy, massage and guided movement. The name describes a service I have developed; the most useful place to begin is with what the time actually includes.
Regenere is 90 minutes for $170. It includes 30 minutes of infrared therapy and a shared 60-minute portion for massage, mobility and recovery integration. The massage and movement fit within those 60 minutes. They are not extra appointments added to the end.
Before we begin, we talk about what brought you here. You might want to give attention to an uncomfortable area, make time for personal care or discuss how movement can fit into the session. I want to hear your priorities and preferences before suggesting a plan. A useful question to bring is, “How will we use the time for what matters to me?”
My background in dance, sports, Physical Education, personal training and massage is part of why I enjoy combining touch and movement. I am interested in the person receiving the care and in the everyday activities that matter to her. That might be a walk with a friend, a favorite sport or simply finding time to pay attention to herself.
During the massage-and-movement portion, we agree on the focus and discuss what feels comfortable. Guided movement is something we choose together, with explanation and room for your questions. Pressure, pace and the balance of the session can respond to your preferences. I do not expect you to push through discomfort to make the appointment worthwhile.
If infrared heat raises questions for you, please ask before choosing the service. We can discuss the actual setup, your comfort and whether the combined appointment is an appropriate choice. Booking a longer combination is a decision about the experience and time you want; it does not promise a better result than another service.
A massage appointment can be a good choice when you want the visit centered on massage. Regenere is an option when you want to discuss an integrated appointment with infrared therapy and massage-and-movement time. Personal training is a separate service for movement and fitness goals. I can explain those differences so the names on the menu make sense to you.
I bring decades of experience and a continuing interest in learning. You bring the goals, observations and questions that make the care personal. My hope is that you understand the appointment before it begins and feel comfortable taking part in the choices throughout it.
Personal care. Whole-body understanding. Movement for life.
